HELP!!! I planted a blub of a calla lily plant on Valentine's Day. Will you help me?

The leaves have started to grow. I do not have flowers yet. My question is... that the leaves for some reason have some white discoloration on them. The leaves also look a bit longer then in the picture of the package. They look more slender, pointy, and long. Do you think that I may be planted something else? Or do you think that I am not giving it enough water/ sunlight/ plant food? Please HELP I don't know what to do!!

Too Long to copy, but this will tell you everything you need to know.
Reply:If you are located in this cold weather then your plants most likely are being killed by the cold snap we have had. The white color you spoke of indicates that part of the plant died from frost but, they should strengthen up soon with the weather getting warmer and the sun shine will give them a lot of strength.
Reply:If they were mine, I'd leave them alone, and wait to be surprised. It's possible the leaves are variegated, which explains the white discoloration. I have 2 varities like that. Also, don't look at the pictures. They are the "ideal", not the way the bulb will be.
