Brown leaf tips on Peace Lily?

I've had a Peace Lily for about a year now, just repotted it to a bigger pot, It has never flowered since I bought it and now the tips of the leaves are turning brown. I keep it in low light and water it frequently (not letting it dry out). I place it in the shower from time to time to spray the leaves. Any help on fixing the brown leaves and getting it to flower again? Thanks!

lack of nitrogen in your soil , fix the leaves with a good fertilizer, then give your plant 18 hrs complete darkness and it should flower.
Reply:It sounds like you are over watering it. Also, plants go into "shock" when you first repot them then putting tons of water on top of that kinda confuses things. Just keep doing what you are doing and make sure to check the PH levels and dont over water. Let the soil get dry to the touch before you water and dont give too much water. Cleaning the leaves is also a must but only do it once a month just by spraying them with a light mist and gently rub the leaves.

possibly in too large a pot

will need to be in bright indirect light to bloom

many peace lilies have a distinct season of bloom and must be in full vigor to come into bloom.

they don't mind being root-bound and sometimes this helps them to come into bloom.

I had a peace lily for over a decade that bloomed every Spring. I grew, bought, sold, and shipped them commercially for a reealllly long time.
