Why is copper-contaminated water dangerous?
Copper is a 'heavy metal' and is very poisonous. Yet some organisms require it. Acarospora anomila will only live where copper levels are high. Copper will not affect pH but pH will affect the solubility of the copper.
Reply:Copper wreaks havoc with Ph levels in any living organism.
