Reply:Claude Monet lived at Giverny, near Vernon, France. He diverted a stream of the Seine River to create the water pond where his lilies grow. His work was not limited to water lilies, but included landscapes and cathedrals such as the one at Rouen. He did many portraits of his wife and children. His home is preserved as he kept it.
